Pastors Doug & Shanna Neal - Tinley Park Campus Pastors
Doug & Shanna truly have a heart for people, which enables them to be passionate in caring for the varied needs of this congregation. They both come from a rich heritage of ministry backgrounds, and first joined CLC in 2002. Here they have served in a variety of roles, including children’s ministry, office administration, and congregational care, prior to becoming our Campus Pastors in 2006. They are the proud parents of Carrington, Kayla and Caitlyn.
Jon Jones - Tinley Park Worship Director
Lively, Energetic, Spirited.... a few words to describe Jon. Raised in a household of musicians, singers, and songwriters, Jon, being the youngest, has taken a little from each of his siblings to form his overall frame in music. His experience in music include college training in Vocal Production, 10 years singing with Vocal Group (C-Sharp/Consumed), training of numerous choirs, praise teams, and vocalists in the Chicagoland Area over the past 15 years, Music Director of MusicNet School of Music, Dolton Location, for 5 years, as well as numerous recording and producing opportunities. Jon has served under Steve & Shae at CLC since 2003 and, under their tutelage, exudes enthusiasm and intensity in Worship & Praise to the Almighty, understanding character is what one is; reputation is what one is thought to be by others......
Brent & Sol McQuay - Tinley Park Student Ministries Directors
Brent joined our staff as Director of Student Ministries in the summer of 2006. He returned to CLC after completing three years of ministry and leadership training at twentyfourseven, which is an intense discipleship and leadership academy operated by New Life Church in Colorado Springs, CO. In addition, Brent spent his third year in the program at twentyfourseven’s affiliate in Mexico City, Mexico, where he had extensive hands-on experience in cross-cultural ministry and youth leadership. He also met and married the beautiful Latina, Susana (Sol) Pacheco. Both Brent and Sol come from a rich background of ministry, and their heart is to lead our youth to be fully consumed with the Lord Jesus Christ!
Renee Jackson - Tinley Park Children's Ministry Director
Renee Jackson has served in children’s ministry for 16 years at CLC. She believes there is so much to learn about God and His work, and she pursues it with great energy. Renee models that wonderful teachable spirit for the 1st through 5th grade children of CLC, which is called UpTown. The children can’t help but be drawn to excitement of who God is when Renee’s in the room. Renee has 4 grown children, and cares for 4 of her grandchildren.
Betsy Jansen - Tinley Park Tiny Town Director
Betsy purposes to bring God’s Word to life for even the youngest child that attends CLC, and does so through a wealth of practical applications of God to daily life. As she oversees TinyTown, the birth through kindergarten department, it’s evident that she values the role of the church in the nurturing of the faith in a young child’s life, while recognizing that the parents and guardians are who hold the most power in shaping the spiritual development of that child. Betsy and her husband Gary have had practice in working this process out with their three children Kevin, Evie and Tim.
