KidsTown

In TinyTown, we minister to children ages birth to kindergarten. It is our goal to create an environment in which they can discover what God made for them, how much He loves them, and that He has something special planned for them. During this time, we want them to get to know God.

As children learn and grow in TinyTown, we focus on teaching them three basic truths repeatedly:
God made me
God loves me
Jesus wants to be my friend forever

These truths are woven within the lessons and spoken over them in class week after week. It is our desire to support parents as they help their children learn and grow to be strong and wise in the ways of God.

Since there are so many developmental changes happening in this age group, we have them separated in 3 different classes for weekend services:
Nursery for birth through 23 months
Tykes for 2s and 3s
Pre and K for 4s, 5s and kindergarteners.

In UpTown, we minister to 1st through 5th grades. This is an ideal age to teach children about salvation. They tend to be very open to learning about God and the Bible and can comprehend the importance of salvation. They are also sensitive to the Holy Spirit’s promptings. Our goal is to lay the foundation to help them understand what it means to “walk with God and to be like Jesus.” During this time, we want them to begin to build a life-long friendship and relationship with God.

In UpTown we focus on teaching three basic truths repeatedly:
I can trust God no matter what
I need to treat others the way I want to be treated
I need to make the wise choice

These three truths are taught each week, and applied to every day situations. During small group time, we encourage the children work out the lesson as it pertains to their life. We want to come along side the parents, and equip them to help their children make a decision for Christ that will last a lifetime.
