ABOUT Faith At Home Conference

Have you ever felt like your relationship with Christ should be more than a Sunday morning duty you check off the list? How about the daunting task of teaching your children about your faith? Do you want to live such an exciting life that people want to join you on your journey?

Join Christian Life Center, Tinley Park, Illinois on September 27-28 for the Faith @ Home Conference. Mark Holmen will be the key-note speaker. Joining him are Joel Brooks and Gregg Johnson.

Saturday is packed with great sessions and workshops from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. There will be a resource room available to conference attendees as well. Lunch will be off-site. A list of local restaurants is available. Since no childcare will be provided, start making arrangements now because you won’t want to miss any speaker.

Saturday evening Joel Brooks will continue the conference at the 6 o’clock service. Children’s ministry for children birth through 5th grade will be available during this time.

Sunday morning Mark Holmen will be at Tinley Park and South Bend, IN via video feed. Gregg Johnson will be at Shorewood for their morning service. Children’s ministry for children birth through 5th grade will be available during this time.

The conference will end Sunday evening with an event for the whole family, The J12 Encounter.  Led by Gregg Johnson, this high-energy, action-packed evening spent with your family will give you tools to help you be ready to walk out your faith with your family.

From a tween’s perspective, the J12 Encounter is like nothing they’ve ever seen.
Exciting, physical, eye-popping, and endlessly inventive, the J12 Encounter is a 2-
hour multimedia ministry event designed to hammer home the seven words
Jesus spoke at the age of 12, encouraging kids to live out those words in their
own lives.  Each Encounter ends with a special ceremony of prayer and
impartation, focusing kids on the seven words and their destiny in life.

Through the eyes of a parent, the J12 Encounter is nothing short of a Godsend.
The J12 Encounter isn’t for tweens alone; it’s also for parents.  Parents and kids-
what a concept!  As the Encounter unfolds, parents become increasingly
thankful that someone has taken the time to articulate what they would all love
to see their kids walk in during their early years.

And it’s all aimed at helping both parents and kids walk away with the
confidence of knowing a meaningful walk with Christ, is achievable at even a
young, pre-teen age.  Each child leaves knowing they’re in the hinge years of
their life, and that the decisions they make now will dramatically alter the course
of their life.  They can live holy lives.  They can have more fun with their Savior
than with sin.  They can be about their Father’s business.  They must.
